Back online and catching up!

We finally have our computer back and in working order.  Phew!  Don't those Apple people know how far behind I am getting on our blogs!

Ok...so backing up several weeks.  My dear friend, Diana Black, was out to visit and we had a great time touring around.  We took a trip to Aspen, found this great little town of Crystal (and Crystal Mill - found on calendars out here everywhere) and took a hike in Avalanche Creek as well as to Hanging Lake.

Immediately after our visit from Diana we had the pleasure of my cousin and her husband, Donna and Gary Brown, come to camp with us for a few days.  Having company on the road is fun!  We took a hike on No Name Trail and a trip to Rifle Falls State Park.

We really enjoyed our time in the Glenwood Springs area.  We had to take a soak in the famous hot springs pool.  It was wonderful!  We even saw a double rainbow above our RV one evening after a quick rain.

We took a hike on the Storm King Trail which is in memory of the 14 firefighters who died in the fire of 1994.  There were informative signs along the way describing how the fire moved in, where the firefighters came from (hiked in or dropped by helicopter) and what they endured during their time trying to stop the fire.  We're so thankful for all of those who dedicate their lives to such a cause.

Next stop, Idaho Springs, CO.  Stay tuned!

Til next time...Happy Trails!
